For many children in Northern Ireland growing up in the 80's, summer was not over until you had a family day out at Barry's amusement park in Portrush. 
These hoops are inspired by the hobby horse ride which we all went on, mum and dad included and we would cling on to the colourful twisted pole on which the horse would rise and fall.
